yes  I said 100, which was way off for GT3. I actually got it on release too but didn't know a thing about game sales at the time :p and I was surprised when I looked at it earlier.

In any case we'll see by the end of the year (hopefully....)

not by the end of the year but byt the end of 2011 as GT5 will only get 8-9 weeks in ad it does have great legs for the furst 1-1.5 year

It is simply impossible for GT5 Prologue to do 5 Million and for GT5 to completely "disappoint" = below 6 million according to your ridiculous OP akiba

GT5 Prologue has done 5 Million alone

GT5 IS NOT going to do below 6 Million, not when massive GT fans like myself skipped Prologue to wait for the real deal.

15 million people did not fall off the face of the earth but I'd make a bet at least half of them moved to the 360. You'd have to be crazy if you think GT5 is going to be the best selling in the series when the PS3 has sold 1/4 of what the PS2 sold. The attach ratio would have to be ridiculous for this to happen.

nothings stopping that half your referring to from getting PS3's for GT5. you may say theres no logic behind it, but other then the fact that Bungie isn't developing the Halo after reach that wouldn't stop it from sell 12m unit unless they really screw it up.

yea right just like the chance of new consoles coming out or being revealed in 2012 when Sony and MS(because of kinect) are looking at a 10yr vision PR or no PR and it's strange how you think Nintendo will give up profitability for a new console when they haven't even revealed vitality yet? 2013-2014 tops when it comes to revealing new consoles, but thats me getting off subject and reading whats in your sig. maybe over reading

you over analysed what i was saying. the words 7m PS3's will be sold are not in my previous post, so stick to what i said and don't feed me with words. we are talking about software not hardware, but 7m PS3's being sold because of GT5 isn't impossible, but i'm not saying it will or will not happen.

the 8m replaced the 15m in sells i set for this time next yr, besides 10m of those 14.89m GT fans could already own PS3's. i'll say it again. we are talking about the sells of GT5 not PS3's even though you can argue they go hand and hand, but we can save that for another time.

GT5 8m this time next yr.

Even if GT5 "flops" in comparison to GT1-GT4, I think it still will be one of the Top 3 sellers on PS3 so far - i.e. it will easily sell more than the 5.32 million copies of COD4:MW which is currently at #3 according to VGC data.

But honestly, I think once PS3 leaves the market in a few years, GT5 will be known as it's bestselling game. I expect more than 10 million copies LT.
