I'd get the PC version.  The console versions are hideous in general, even before seeing the PC version.

Pixel Art can be fun.

might get this game, will try it out before i buy it. if i do get it i think i will get the ps3 if it gets cleaned up before release , if it doesnt then i will get the 360 version.

After Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain and so forth... This thread only serves to highlight the laziness, or the unwilingness, of developers to give their all on the PS3 version of their games.

its the demo version that looks crap...look @ the link on one of the post in first page linking PS3 final build version looking sharper and cleaner.

either way PC is the way to go for this game, both console version looks like a rushed port compared to PC.

besides this...am i the only one who think that the ps3 version looks FAR MORE sharp than the 360 version? the only thing that Ps3 lacks it's the grass...and that's why it's SO DIFFERENT like the OP said?

Aren't we already used to lazy developers?...

Let's wait for the launch version to judge the differences. Even if the PS3 version is heavily inferior I wouldn't care because I'm not interested in the game anyway.

Why when PS3 has the better version is due to a powerful console, and when X360 has the better version is due to lazy developers?

so why do you think PS3 versions are lower quality????????????????

it surely isn't an inferior system

It's an inferior system in money/time limited scenarios. PS3 has a higher theorical limit, but you need more time (which equals money) to extract it's power, so It's natural that PS3 version is more times than not the inferior version. I'm sure 99% of the people here drives faster in a world rally car than in a F1, due to the time needed to learn to drive an F1 car, which is a very hard car to learn to drive.

PS: And I'm not comparing the power of both consoles to the top speed of both types of cars, I'm talking more of developing learning curve than absolute power.

By itself its not more money/time, once it is learn. Lets say insomniac do a PS3 and 360 game natively and they work on each version the same amount of time. From what your saying we can understand that in this example, the PS3 version of the insomniac game would look worst than the 360 one.

On the other hand, you could have said that it needs more time/money when porting the game from or to PC and Xbox, due to very different architecture, which is true and it work both ways. If it was natively program on PS3 its going to take longer to port it on Xbox than porting a PC title to Xbox. Final Fantasy 13 is a good example. Thats where the lazy developer comes from, not adjusting their code to work best on all console in order to save time/money, works both ways, nothing to do with PS3 being more difficult, its simply different. Now, if you think that was a bad decision from Sony to opt with something not traditional because porting and learning would take longer, fine, but longer by itself it isnt.

On another note, this may well be revolute when someone release a multi-platform engine who takes care of optimising for different architectures, a la crysis new engine.

pc wins...by a lot

Both look kinda bad

its been confirmed today that GT5 has a weather system, track editor and go karts! seriously i think this is going to be the best selling in the series even beating GT3 sales of 14 million plus!

I am very dissapointed with Mafia 2...

After playing GTA4 and the Addons, Mafia 2 does not really reach my expetations of a game in 2010...

The graphics on the ps3 is nowhere near to the GTA graphics the drive experience isnt comparable to GTA either.
