Yes a translated release of that would be awesome, But a new secret of mana following on from the story line of the first with the same characters would be epic.

If it weren't for The Last Remnant, SE would be useless to me when it comes to consoles. The character design, battle system, and city architecture in TLR is great. It has real side quests and did I mention the cities? Despite it's technical flaws, The Last Remnant was actually a fun game.

Unlike FFXIII, I really wanted to like FFXIII. I bought into the BS about it being like FFX. FFXIII is causing me to seriously reconsider the order of my least favorite games in the series. It may do something I didn't think possible and dethrone FFVII as my least favorite game in the series. Just thinking about playing FFXIII again fills me with dread.

The SE remakes on DS are great fun. Unfortunately I can't use the DS for extended periods of time. I was going to get an XL but with the 3DS being announced, I'm not sure I can justify the purchase. Especially when I can use that money to pick a PSP 3000 and some games I've considered picking for the platform. Lunar, FF Tactics, Valkyria Chronicles 2, and Tactics Ogre come to mind.

Ive only enjoyed FF After years  the remakes and the Kingdon Heart games from them for along time. I will say that Enix is doing great. DQ 9 is awesome along with the DQ Remakes this Gen Cant wait to play 10 on the Wii and 6 on DS when it hits the states

Frankly, its just 'Square' that needs to get it together.  The 'Enix' side of SquareEnix is not only doing just fine, but propping up the company.

The problem is, the Square side just became a machine pumping out endless sequels, prequels and remakes of Final Fantasy.  Almost completely gone are all their past series.  We get a couple weak sequels to Front Mission, a port of Chrono Trigger and some horrible Mana games.  Everything else from them is just FINAL FANTASY FINAL FANTASY FINAL FANTASY!!!
