Hey 360 do you consider yourself a fanboy?

That's fine, but the title of the thread is "Why are people so threatened by the Wii?" You can "just like the PS3 better" without feeling threatened by the Wii, those aren't the people I'm talking about.  See my emphasis in the above quote pyramid.

I think PS3 fanboys are in the various stages of grief right now

First stage is denial - Look how great the launch went. It's the most successful launch in their history. Europe sold like gangbusters. Wait til good games are released, they will revive sales. 

Second stage is anger - I hate the simpleton games of the Wii and DS. The other systems are so weak, they don't deserve success.

Third stage is bargaining - It doens't matter how successful the PS3 is because Blu-ray will win.

Fourth stage is depression - If Nintendo wins it will be the end of gaming as we know it.

Fifth stage is acceptance - They have sold enough to do great things. Losing market share doesn't matter.

interesting stages....are most between 2 and 3 now?

 Some have already reached stage four

If you guys want to keep this thread alive, stop attacking PS360N64PSXBOX and others. If this stays as a "let's bash fanboys" thread, I don't really see the point.

Now if we have an upgradable system, doesn't we have a computer? That was all from me.

Or actuly not, those who doesn't like Wii ask yourself isn't it better with three consols that does the gaming bit different, then three consols doing exactly the same thing? I like choices, so I go for difference in the market.

i think the only thing people feel threatened is by wii's sales numbers. because the higher those numbers are, the less likely their console of choice would win the "console war".

I think fun is different for everyone. For me, Nintendo does a good job. See how I said "for me", which means that for someone else, it wouldn't be the same. I'm dissapointed at many people here that don't seem to get that everyone has different tastes. I think the Wii is more appealing to me (also more cheap). I like the controller and the graphics are good enough. BUT, I really like Final Fantasy and other RPGs like that on Playstation, not because of the graphics, but because of the gameplay and story. So, I'll probably enjoy the Wii while waiting for the PS3's price to drop. :)
