My position is in the middle between stephen hawking and slimebeast's pie in the sky kind view. I don't think that we will have catastrophic environmental or nuclear types of hardships, but we are also running short on oil....

the montreal power outage was caused by the weather, if an ice age occurs the temperatures being much worse. yes but no electricity still is a problem, as man kind is dependent on it.

in my 2nd paragraph im saying that if their is an ice age, then the whole world will be covered with ice not just 10. countries. with no food no means of transportation and panicking civilians it could be the end of humanity.
