After making these threads about custom consoles I thought "Wouldn't it be nice if I can get my console painted without voiding the warranty and getting mywallet raped?". I think the big 3 should offer new and current owners the chance to have our own unique system for a set price. This process should be done online and this should not void are warranty, we find a picture offered by the company select it and send it in and if you want a picture not on the website you have to submit a picture of what you but you may have to pay a little more. So what do you guys think?

This would more than likely never happen but it's nice to dream.

I couldn't see the big 3 doing it, though i could see them licensing 3rd parties to do so (in warranty). Microsoft i would find the most likely to do such a thing, and Nintendo the least.

Though it would be a neat thing. I've never been into custom skins, but it would be nice.

Some companies who make custom console do provide a warranty of their own so I don't see the point.

What would be awesome is if you could order anything from their back catalog for instance a brand new PS1 or a new Super Mario Bros. 3 cartridge.
