Forums - Microsoft - An easy way to connect to Xbox LIVE?

I played COD4 online at a friend's house, and I was hooked. I've been thinking seriously about getting LIVE, but I want to know the easiest way to connect to internet first.

If anyone could offer me some advice I will truly appreciate it.

get a wire and stick it into your router and your 360.

^An ethernet cord, not just a wire.... but yes

That's not as hard as I thought It would be. Now I just need a cable long enough to go from my living room to my bedroom.

If you need wireless and have a wireless router at your house, you can buy Wireless N Adapters for Xbox 360 really cheap now since the new 360 S came out!

I just took a look around my house, that may not be plausible. Any other sugestions?

$80 brand new from Walmart.com or look around eBay for ones closer to $50 or less!

Or get this. Wireless doesn't work for me cause my room is too far away from the router, so I use this.

Also cable is better than wireless. (not trying to start an argument here)

I decided to use a cable, but my modem only has one ethernet port. I was thinking about buying one of these.
