Xbox360 is doing great.  It's taking percentages from Wii and Ps3. 

with xbox360s Arcade, reach bundle, Reach, COD, Fable III,  can they do it this year?   (no)   Now wouldn't that be just awesome?   These 3 consoles will have sold  pretty much equally at the end of their run.

Maybe during the holiday season. Both the 360 and PS3 COULD have strong performances, while the wii may sell less than last year. This due to the fact that almost everyone that wanted a wii already has one.

i'm on board with this. i don't think 360 will ever have 30% market share, but it's not impossible.

yeah like others have said while its not impossible for the 360 to reach 30% I just don't see it happening at this point.

For this: 360 > Wii PS3 by large margin and/or period... so impossible.

In numbers... 360 need sell 4 million (or more) and the PS3 and Wii none (yeah... 0 unit) for reach 30%... so PS3 and Wii will stooped the sales for 360 reach 30% in about six months.

I just saw the market share update and it appears to be quite unlikely.

They did it already, back at the beginning of this generation.

I don't think it will ever happen unless KINECT becomes a ridiculous success.

The others sell a combined 300k, so it needs to sell a minimum of 130K just to get above 30% in sales.

30% right now would be 45M... so it needs to sell 3.3 M without the others selling anything... and it's currently 200K, soit gets 70K advance on the 30% mark per week... we can conclude that the 360 will need 50 weeks of constant sales to reach 30%... do you guys really think the 360 will sell that much? I don't. (still think it'll keep selling for a bit...  but not 50 weeks ahead).
