According to Amazon France listings spotted by The Sixth Axis, both Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia franchises could be getting the Blu-ray treatment in the coming months. Unfortunately, other than a 39.95 Euro ($54) price tag and a November 2 release date, neither listing provides any real detail on what the trilogies might contain.

If Ubisoft is planning to re-release these games as compilations, it's possible that they might feature updated graphics, much like last year's God of War Collection. With a Sly Cooper collection on the way -- and rumors of a Team Ico Collection refusing to go away -- we'd hardly be surprised to see third-party publishers giving their own classics another spin.

I don't know about you guys but if this is true, I would definitely get that PoP collection! that trilogy is one of all time fave game trilogies

if only ubisoft made metal gear...sigh

EDIT: i personally find pop has lost it's charm with time, and i have no interest in replaying them. maybe the splinter cell trilogy if the 2nd and 3rd parts were good. never played em

Question about PoP, how different are those POPs compared to the new PoPs? Story, gameplay?

I played PoP 08 and I like it, very charming, good story and liked the gameplay :P :D and it got me to play more of them so this will give me a chance to play the old PoP.

imho the previous trilogy was better in every way including gameplay and story

I actually like this concept, but I would have preferred releasing the essential collections that some games did on the ps2. 

I'd buy a PoP HD trilogy for $40, I might even buy two.
