Though, if you shop around more, you could probably even find a better TV for cheaper :P

Ever go to redflagdeals.com?

Also - when is your Black Friday sale thing?  Isn't that like 2 months away?

Believe me, you don't need 120Hz, companies charge more for it and it is completely useless, it makes people move like robots and it has a little lag effect on video gaming...

Get one of these, 120Hz just makes it worse for watching TV and gaming...

For watching fast moving TV though I'll take the 120 over the 60 anyday :P  Especially since the difference in going from 60 to 120 is so minimal these days.  Going from 120 to 240 is another thing though :P

Its useful for sports and fast paced movies, and considering I'm an AVID hockey fan, try to watch nearly almost all of my teams games and that I watch a ridiculous amount of movies I think it would be useful.

And regardless the TV has a gaming mode that reduces it to 60Hz and optimizes.

All in all I think the LG has the best, most robust list of features and packs allot of bang for the buck.

The first has a response time of 6ms

The Second has a response time of 6.7ms

The third has a response time of 8ms (ugh)

None have a contrast ratio even close to the LG, or close to the LG's 2.4ms response time

Haha well I live near Buffalo NY, and Buffalo NY is known as a hockey town, the Buffalo Sabres have an immense presence here, mainly because our Football team is trash and often frowned upon lol.

I've also been thoroughly researching Surround Sound Theatre systems and have stumbled across this entry unit, it seems to also have quite the bang for its buck :P What do you guys think?

Take in mind I don't want to spend any more then $300 on a surround sound system.

Okay I just accidently stumbled across this sweet little deal on Amazon a second ago, what do you all think, is there anything better?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0039RSYQS/ref=nosim/lhd-20

It's a new LG Line and it seems like a steal for $700.

I had a 42" LG (forgot model#) that died on me one year, one month and one day after I bought it.  I loved it while it worked, it had an excellent picture. Fortunately, I was suckered into an extended warranty (LG wouldn't touch it) and they replaced it with a similar LG. It was a different line from what I had before and the picture was absolutely horrible, there were dark vertical streaks that really showed up while panning. There was no way I was going to live with that! After a little arm twisting (and a convincing demonstration of the problem) I was able to trade it for a 40" Samsung (LN40B550). I'm about nine months into this one, aside from the slightly smaller screen, I have no complaints.  So far, so good.
