Forums - Nintendo - I think some Virtual Boy games should be remade for the 3DS.

I would love to see some VB remakes for the 3DS, either through a 3DS VB VC type arrangement, or a "VB Greatest Hits" collection on one cart.  It might be a little tricky to get all the games on one since they're owned by 4 or 5 companies, but they could put all the first-party games on one.  I wouldn't even mind the original red graphics, because the 3D effect would kick ass on the magical 3DS screen.  But as jarrod said, some color customization could be awesome.

Wario Land and Mario Tennis kicked ass.  Golf was atrocious.  I heard Mario Clash and Tetris were great on there too, but I never got around to playing them.

I think Virtua Boy games should be unlockable in new games. That would be great.

Virtua is a Sega term, assuming that wasn't a typo.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

It was a pretty big failure and only made over 10 games. Plus your eyes hurt after a bit.

Why do you think we're denying that, and that we're discussing the system itself?

Could you actually read the thread?

Wario Land was decent, other then that what did the VB have that deserves a remake? Maybe Teleroboxer?

Mario Clash was the only game I ever got to try.  It was freaking awesome.

Dammit.  I've only played the throwback minigames in WarioWare, and even those were awesome.  I needs me some Mario Clash now!  I wonder how inexpensive it is...

Just checked Amazon.  About $20 for the game after shipping.  About $65 for the console after shipping.

Back to why I loved Mario Clash, it was like an updated version of this:

and that just makes me happy all over.

Interesting... I didn't expect videos of Virtual Boy games to look okay without the 3D effect.
