Settle down, and hear read me out.
The biggest problem with the VB was that the system itself was impractical to play, in just about every manner but the controller (which I tried in stores and felt a bit like the Gamecube controller).
Now this doesn't mean the games were all masterpieces, but their greateness was hindered by the system. It means that any quality the games had was hindered by the system. Some games weren't that good, but a few, like Wario Land and Red Alarm, got some amount of praise. Therefore remaking them for the 3DS could be a way to play these games as they were meant to be played, but the nature of their system got in the way of.
Also, I don't mean huge, full polygon graphics and texturing remakes. It could be as simple as adding color to the monochrome setup, and selling the games for a bargain price. Or even as DSiWare downloads.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
