Games are canceled all the time and most deserve to be canned. Unfortunately, there is always a game that deserves a chance to shine and be noticed by gamers, and this title from Ubisoft is one of those. While the footage is a target render and doesn't properly portray what the real game would have been like, the target and goal the game shoots for looked really impressive and it was set to be an exclusive PS3 title. Known as Gorilla Nation, the game appears to be a a third-person shooter, with a lot of speed and intense action. Taking place in London during the year 2032, the world is now cohabiting humans and machines. Sadly, this game will not see the light of day and the trailer and screens are the only things people will ever see of this concept.
Why the game got canceled isn't known, but the project was likely too difficult to make a reality and too much of an investment at the current time. With such an ambitious design and concept in mind, it would have taken a lot of resources to make a game live up to this target render.
