Forums - Microsoft - Datel creates new 360 controller that directly syncs. No dongles/wires.

Perhaps things are going well for Datel in its lawsuit with Microsoft. They have just rolled out the new Wildfire 2 controllers for Xbox 360 which directly sync with the Xbox 360 console! No dongles, no wires, just a direct sync like the original. This controller is on sale for $44.99 and boasts extra features such as rapid fire options and blue growing grips. Although the sheer ingenius of this controller is in its direct sync capabilities.

Very interesting, the first of its type we beleive. It's interesting to note that Datel are clearly stating this product has no approval from Microsoft.

That controller is actually pretty damn nice. I also wonder how that D-Pad performs.

Looks good.  There was another controller featured in the last issue of Game Informer that looked pretty nice, too.  I don't know which one I should grab.  Being wireless gives this one the advantage, though.  I just have to see a few reviews.  The most important thing will be the d-pad.  Aside from that, the default 360 pad is perfect.

I haven't seen the one in GI yet, but as you said, this one is really nice since it syncs just like the original controller, which gives it a big edge on all other 3rd party controllers.

I wouldn't buy that shit. Just a matter of time before MS blocks that too.

Also, its an eyesore.
