Hey naz....you're doing radiography? wazzat?

Thanks to kenobi after I got him to ban my old account (dallas) after someone hacked into it and being ok with me coming back under a slightly different username.  I appreciate our communication in the PMs.  Also I want to give a big thank you to vgchartz for being one of the cooler websites around.

Oh, and I'm still the next Michael Pachter

MRI and X-Ray imaging technology.  Radiographers prep patients for MRIs, take MRIs, clean up images and highlight certain spots.  After I get my Radiography degree though I may go to Radiation Therapy for my Bachelor's degree.

that's what I thought, my pop does that

Wait, didn't Universal tell Michael Bay if he spouted crap against HD-DVD again they would pull him from Transformers 2? Oh please god tell me this means he won't be allowed to fuck up the sequel like he did the first one!

It was Paramount, not Universal, and Bay made the threat, not the studio.  He threatened to not make Transformers 2 if the first was not released on Blu-Ray.  Of course, he quietly rescinded the statement the next day, stating that both formats are great.

He then trashed talked HD DVD the day Transformers came out on DVD/HD DVD.

And now this.

Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg, and Ridley Scott have all been very pro-Blu-Ray from the start. It's most likely because, as Directors, they feel that the added capacity and higher bitrates of Blu-Ray will lead to a better representation of their films.

There has not been a single director that has expressed a preference for HD DVD, that I am aware of.

Why would he even care that much? 98% of the people bought this on DVD anyway.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Well, he cares enough b/c the more copies his movies sell, the more $$$ he makes, and the bigger his rep gets. He obviously isnt the kind of director that would make a brilliant art film even if only 5 people ever end up seeing it anyway.

I disagree. I'm thinking that the plot thins...

Can something that involves a Michael Bay even have a plot? Isn’t that like a federal offense or something?

LOL

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

could anything possibly be more uninteresting than the war between HD-DVD and bluray?

It appears that you've never seen a Michael Bay film...

LOL again.

OMG, I really wish people would stop posting BS about the HD wars. The truth is that both formats are doing badly and will probably both lose in the end. Shut up already...
