Who would want to make a movie that is connected to the abomination that was the James Cameron crap? At least it looks more like a reboot and not a sequel

Then again, it's not as bad as James Cameron milking the franchise dry by putting out Titanic 3D which is actually slated for release in 2012... Or re-releasing Avatar to theaters with a whopping 8 MINUTES of additional new content within a year of the original...  -_-'

FTR in the past movies would be re-released dozens of times. How do you think Gone with the Wind grossed that much money for its time? At least Avatar has 8 additional minutes and Titanic is in 3D.

Well, I never said anything about other movies in the past, but I think re-releasing the same thing like that is just sad, regardless of quality. At least  this Titanic II will be a ground-up, all-new original movie, instead of a re-release with some ninor tweaks. Not that I think it'll be good, but it's a much bigger effort on the creators' part.
