so this will probably be on a dual layer Wii disc or maybe 2 discs then

out of interest, how many dual layer or multiple disc Wii games have their been? I can only think of Brawl and MP Trilogy for dual layer

Maybe, maybe not. A great many of those scenes are real-time, though i suppose all the Voice Acting data could punch in a lot of space

Sweet! I wish more games had modes like that. I often need to play through the game several times because I forgot a lot of the story. If only Xenogears had had this feature.

Another feature that should get implemented in games are a totally-skip-cutscenes-and-dialogues-mode. Sometimes you want to play a game just for fun, skipping through cutscenes and dialogues as fast as you can. This would be a wonderful feature in M:oM I believe.
