I am confused by this

This was on his twitter that he thinks that ps3 sales are on 38.2 mill compared to 41.2 mill for the xbox...

Excuse if this has been mentioned but wtf...

Shipment numbers......

And maybe a little undertracking by VGC ?

thats a big undertrack and the 360 numbers are even to vgc... Could it be that Jim Reilly has got his mail severely wrong?

No dude...new shipment numbers @ the end of the quarter have hit...

Total 360 shipments by the end of June 2010 - 41.7 million

Total PS3 shipments by the end of June 2010 - 38.1 million

Wait... maybe VGC has adjustments with new shipments figures.

Don't count on it.  Such diffrences with shipped vs sold numbers have been in VGC for years.

Well... Since I attend the VGC that adjustments are made after the financial results... this time is no different.

Well we're supposed to beleive this guy?? AND WHY?? Because he has an epinion and what kind of actual proof  that they are 3 million apart?  Fact is if he or anyone is going to say its hard to track shipments or that the PS3 is being reported undersold.. the same is true of ALL CONSOLES.. Like the Wii.. the Xb360 !!  The same would be said for them all !  This is just a FANBOY who has a hard time accepting that Sony's current generation console is in 3rd place because Sony screwed up.. os instead wants to justify with all his might and energy that they really are close to a console that has held a steady 4-6 million sales lead since the beginning..  Sure I'll admit the last 8 months Sony has had a slight increase in sales thanks to their slimline PS3 ( and lower price) , but guess what ? Now MS has done the same thing and it appears that the NEW XB360 slim ( and yes lower price ) will do the same thing for Microsoft.. if sales for the XB360 continue as they have with their new slim model as they have the last few weeks.. it wont be long until the XB360's lead is back to 6 million.. as right now its pulling away again by 100,000 or more a week..

this guy is a complete moron, pure and simple. he just cant except the fact sony is in 3rd and will be for a good awhile yet.
