Forums - Nintendo - Anyone Know how the 3DS works?

I read somewhere that there is a plastic filter that acts similar to the lens on 3D glasses. But how is that 3D when both of your eyes see the same screen? Can someone explain it to me?

This is a good explanation.

Nintendo Power once said that the GameCube was powered by magical gnomes (which is why it was so durable). I'd expect that the 3DS is no different.

And what Viper1 said.
