Haha... man if you ain't trolling... you've got REAL issues.

I'm sure saying you hope a plane hits the US will get you banned.

You should take that time to reflect.

Either that is some clever satire, or a very depressing statement on your values ...

I’m a Canadian and I fully support a fairly open immigration policy, but I don’t see why illegal immigration should be tolerated; and I have yet to hear a reasonable argument why illegal immigration should be ignored.

Between sex-trafficking and the drug trade criminal organizations are getting amazingly wealthy and powerful and creating a tsunami of destruction with their wake. An illegal labour market increases unemployment, holds down wages, and contributes nothing towards taxation; while the increase in population strains infrastructure and services paid for though taxes compounding the problem.

Actually, a decent number of illegal immigrants do pay taxes.

Some groups of the government lead them on into thinking if they pay

taxes they will get citizenship eventually while those who don't may not

the IRS gives illegal immigrants who want to pay taxes

identification numbers to pay taxes with.  I doubt most do this.

Though illegal immigrants do contribute taxes.

That and sales and usually payroll taxes.

that was uncalled for. hold your composer, and don't stereo type. i'm an American that knows the U.S is not perfect nore is any country.

don't sacrifice your integrity to take a cheap shot at a hole country while having a debate or argument with one person. it makes any point you have made or will make invalid and pointless and it will make it harder to see things through your eyes.

in other words, you won't get heard. i wouldn't mind hearing what you or anyone has to say about the topic of this thread so remember civility is the key to any argument or debate.

rule #1 of debating: never show your anger. stay calm, show civility, and hold your composure.

Wow. Epic meltdown.

any foreigner can get deported whether they wanted to stay here or not. any American could get deported white, black, green, or purple. (that sentence might be reaching but it's also looking at the broader scope of profiling.

if you can't see things through the person whose being targeted eyes then you will never know wht it's like to be in that position of being profiled. that may not be how the bill is set up but suspicion is mostly based on race so the cop doesn't even haft to here you speak.

I agree, too many people forget the huge difference between legal and illegal immigration, and BTW the illegal immigrants damage also the legal ones, not only the countries that welcome them.
For example, in Italy it's quite difficult that South Americans enter illegally, given the huge distance, and thanks also to this, despite some problems with baby gangs, their overall reputation is enormously better than that of North Africans, amongst which the illegal immigration rate and the problems related to it are a lot higher.
