I don't like how both sides behave in this matter...

Because it would get rid of 95% of the douchebag population.

North Korea will never attack the US, want to know why? Because 10 seconds afterwords North Korea wouldn't exist.

I highly doubt all the douchebags live on the West Coast.

Kim Jong-Il knows perfectly well that America possesses enough nukes to carpet bomb his entire country several hundred times over. Empty threats, as usual. How that crackpot has managed to stay in power this long is beyond me.

He's brilliant enough to have outlived the Soviet Union by 20 years, with no sign of slowing down or internal degredation (though the problem of preference falsification means that outside observers will never be able to percieve how dissatisfied they are until it all comes crashing down)

Honestly i would *love* to have the opportunity to study with their Foreign Ministry or whatever equivalent they have. They've played a brilliant game for a pariah state with no committed allies, no economic recourse, and a population that's half-starved all the time. There's an underlying genuis there that belies the stupidity that you often see in their actions. By any estimation, they should've been conquered by South Korea by now, or at least been forced to become a Chinese or Russian puppet state for the purposes of protection, but they haven't.
