Forums - Sony - LBP 2 suicide launch

LBP 2 will have huge legs. It doesn't matter if first month isn't good. LTD will be important and I predict at least 3 million copies.

not to mention the money sony will make from the future dlc releases

i saw some costumes already included in the special edition and the other stuff they give with the game, it's awesome.

LBP2 it top of my buy list in November; that's if I'm going to buy a game in November.

Move in October (can't wait to play Heavy Rain on Move after seeing that Hiphopgamershow demo), LBP2 in November. Works for me.

Are you crazy. Considering that the collecters edition went for pre orders yesterday and shot to the number 1 spot within a day on amazons bestsellers list and how LBP still has a big following on the first game. I think its other titles being sent to there death releasing around LBP2.

I don't think COD Black ops will be as much of a hit as previous COD games because Xbots will have Halo reach to play and a lot of people are getting sick of COD. Also around winter people buy  a few games at a time instead of just one so its not a case of having money for only one game.

Out of the games you mentioned, I'm only getting GT5 and LBP2

Oh and MOH will take some of the COD players away too and that releases before

I don't see it as a big problem. Very different genres and LBP will likely not be as front-loaded as all the other titles anyway and will continue selling well into next year.

Nah, I'll just get all of them except CoD.

Not really....different demographics...and it silenced its sales critics in the 2008 holidays too !

On the PS3, LBP should have that particular market to itself.  People who liked the first one probably hold it in higher regard than any of the more mature games you listed.  It should do fine.
