I think SoA titles do the best sales wise cos ... well they're the best!!! (Might not be obvious to some )

A shame Battlefield 1943 came out 2 weeks before the Summer of Arcade 2009

And I agree, Shank has HUGE potential

Still not sure why Raskulls, Comic Jumper and Shank arnt part of SOA, they're way better than a new Castlevania and Lara Croft game ...

Most likely because Summer of Arcade is an advertising pitch, not a gathering of the 5 best Arcade titles of the year. A good example is Battlefield 1943, which didnt need the publicity of SoA to rake in the sales. Theyre giving less exposed titles a boost in order to boost sales of titles like Limbo. That and 3rd parties probably pay well to get their titles in their. All part of Microsoft's money making schemes

I just don't think they look anything special. The other 3 to me, do.

Ah I see... Yeah, I hope you are wrong. I've been starving for a good 2D console castlevania (metroidvania) for over 10 years now. The Wiiware one was meh and all the good ones were made for DS and GBA.

Just finished about half hour ago. Yeah this game is short, the ending kind of snuck up on me. I don't know what I was thinking but I didn't take into consideration that the achievements count toward your total % completed. Finishing the game was my first achievement out of 12 so that's what had me fooled. Problem solving and execution. So many times I'd figure out what needed to get done but it would take me several tries to actually pull the move off.  Some of that gravity shit was great. Now to go back for more achievements. I did play a little more just to get my avatar awards and I'm rockin' a new shirt now.  It's been way too hot lately in the Northeast for that Reach hoodie.

Totally worth the $15 for me and my family. The only real problem I see for some people is how short it is.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Beat it...83%. I guess ill go back and try to get the achievements.

Kinda dissapointed as none of the pizzles had me stumped for more than 2-3 minutes but its still was a worthwhile gaming experience.

The way it ends, it almost seems like they can do a different episode every month as DLC. Rise and shine little one...new adventure awaits.

I'm momentarily stuck at the second gravity part, the first gravity part where you yourself are affected.  I understand moving the box on the celing and then cutting gravity off, but I seem to need 2 boxes to get up the 2 moving large stairlike platforms.  I'm sure I'll figure it out.  So far I haven' t needed to look anything up *knocks on wood*

I know exactly where you are and that had me probably longer than any other part. You will get a little chuckle of delight when you figure it out.
