Mafia 2 will require Steam to run and is now available for pre-order on it. There's a "digital deluxe edition" as well, and whatever version you buy they give you Mafia for free so your hype level skyrockets. The release date is August 27th so it's not THAT far away.

PS: even if more than half of my current library is on Steam, I'm not really a fan of forcing it on customers, but it's great that it's Steam and not GFWL.

Nobody is forcing you to buy the DLC. If you don't want the DLC then don't buy it.

I had a Mafia II poster in my room for the longest time before I moved, that was like 2 years ago. They better release this game soon, and it'd better be good unlike Mercenaries 2....

I don't want to pay for development that will be made on part of the game I wont buy. I want a full game experience, not games in kits.
