Amazing sales for Fire Emblem, it could comfortably be over 200k units.

Glad to see Last Ranker didn't bomb, though I'm not sure if it will be enough for Capcom, I want a new Breath of Fire :P

i hope wkc has good legs

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

lol, wtf?!  I don't think anyone expected FE over DQ this week!

Last Ranker looks like it might've done better than expected too... Comgnet's really throwing all my expectations this week.

Well in the preview, jacob put them pretty close, 225k for DQ, 223 k for FE.

What im surprised about though is that Jikyou powerful pro outsold wii party, meaning its legs isnt as strong as were mentioned before.

What were 2nd weeks for Wii Fit, Music, Sports Resort and Fit Plus like?  That might give us a better indication on where the legs might really go.

Also, PowerPro PS3 likely did pretty well given there's no PS2 version to eat all the sales this time.

I can't rely on Comgnet's preorders anymore for my forecasts, even for core games XD

[Wii] Dragon Quest Monsters: Battle Road Victory - 231pt

[NDS] Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem Remake - 58pt

[PSP] Last Ranker - 30pt

Edit:

Wii Sports Resorts --- 1st week 353,827 --- 2nd week 153,194

Wii Fit Plus --- 1st week 318,755 --- 2nd week 140,149

lol!  Even COMG sales are WAY off! 1st week...

DQM:BVR- 390(DQ:Swords had 300) (DQJ:M2 had 1091 orders and a first week of 682K). An equivalent ratio would equal 244K.

Fire Emblem- 297

PSP Power Pro- 265

PSP Power Pro- 115

Either FE3 DS sold WAY better than expected (ie: ~250-300k), or DQMBVR sold WAY worse (ie: ~120-150k). :/

Last Ranker could still go either way too (30k-80k territory) imo.  Also, people are talking about Wii Party's legs dropping out, but if Last Ranker only did say 30-40k, then IE3 is doing even worse.

"Either FE3 DS sold WAY better than expected (ie: ~250-300k), or DQMBVR sold WAY worse (ie: ~120-150k). :"

@jarrod

I'm afraid your second scenario is starting to be the more likely :(

It could be something like this:

01. [NDS] Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem - Hero of Light and Shadow (Nintendo) - 160,000
02. [WII] Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Victory (Square Enix) - 140,000

Much more likey than:

01. [NDS] Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem - Hero of Light and Shadow (Nintendo) - 220,000
02. [WII] Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Victory (Square Enix) - 210,000

Anyway it seems Last Ranker did it above expectations unless Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2010 had bombed hard and Inazuma Eleven 3 had had a terrible drop (-70%) which is extremely unlikely. At this point I have it at 60k - 70k.

Ugh, fuck.  Wii is so dead in Japan.  Time for Wii HiFi asap.

Seriously, DQMBRV should've been an easy 500k plus seller, with these sales it'll be doing around half that.  Total bomb imo, it's first shipment was 300k and given then, I doubt it even gets a second.

I'll hold out some hope it did better though, Fire Emblem 3 is the most popular game in the entire series (the SFC original sold 750k ltd).  Maybe it did somewhat better than Shadow Dragon's debut (140k)?

I also wouldn't rule out a steeper IE3 drop, the game was WAY more frontloaded than IE2, and the World Cup fever may have driven some of that earlier adoption.  Power Pro 2010 PSP would be a gigantic drop though, but then all the previous PSP entries were exclusives (while 2010 is competing with a PS3 version, something that also didn't quite work out in PSP's favor with Winning Eleven Blue Samurai).  We'll see though...
