im likely to pick one up, the tech you are getting is impressive.

my only worry is that it will look crap next my fat 360, and needs extra psu to work, with the 360 slim at least its all connect ready.

Yes...I plan on getting 3 Kinect packages.  I will be halfway around the world from my family, so we will utilize that video chat heavily, and so I'll be getting my new bundles 360 S with Kinect.  Then I need the stand alone bundle for them, and I also plan on getting another as a present for my nieces, who love Halo, btw.

may pick one up.. but decision will be made when it gets closer to the release date

How much was balance board on launch?

Kinect and the Move are to expensive. I think they will both fail unless they have a price cut soon after release....If i'm honest I think that in relation to price they are probably equal (from my point of view) but neither has captured my interest...at all.

In all honesty right now i am not interested in either Move or Kinect. Both are too expensive for what they offer. I have a Wii and have not played it for months. regardless of what people say Move is just another wii remote and nunchuck. I will only get it if it has some killer game worth getting it for. Harry Potter might appeal to some but not me.

The exact samething goes for Kinect. I appreciate it is different, it is trying to do new things. But ultimatly it's launch titles are just the same as the games i got with my Wii. I have no desire to pay the £100 or so to do that all over again. The only thing that appeals to me is the voice activation side of things. If they can come up with a good game that is different from what i already have then i might get it.

But looking at the poll even on here. If 30% of people get Kinect = mega sales.

Maybe not at lunch, but I will for sure get one.

Form the poll result 25% is getting one...

I think the problem with kinect is that it is something that I need to experience before I can make a descion on if I buy it. So at this point I have to say no.
