360S is £199

 

Well, it's not that overpriced when compared to the €150 in the rest of Europe then. But it may seem expensive compared to the usually cheap X360 hardware price on UK.

Why would they bundle Kinect for free?

The only different between the Arcade and 260 (elite) is $GB/250GB and Matt/Shiny finish. The arcade is still redesigned with wifi.

Both similar priced (you need to add a game to MOVE) and too expensive imo.  the FULL MOVE experience for two is insanely expensive at £160 if you want a game too.

 

Maybe. Don't remember that Kinect games are more expensive and that some of it's games are not multiplayer : Kinectimals, Your shape, Joy Ride (not sure for this one)...And for those single player experiences, 150 pounds is not cheap...

it isnt the old arcade. it is an S... the only difference is the HDD

you still have the same style (although matt not shiny) and wifi...

I like em shiny, and i feel the 250GB is needed. I dont however feel that Kinect is needed, i just figured that if it was bundled with the console in buying, i might aswell. But as i now know, that wasn't the case..

DId you guys hear about the price for new NFL EA Sports Active game? It's a $100 just for 1 game. Looking at it now Microsoft price Kinect right in the ballpark as the other peripharals   . How much did  DJ Hero, Rockband, Guitar Hero, etc ended up costing because I believe they cost close to what Kinect is priced at.

I also believe Microsoft to focus more on the 360 Arcade Kinect bundle more than the stand alone bundle.

Yeah, Kowen originally said "Microsoft will also be selling a new bundle that includes the redesigned Xbox 360 with 4GB of internal flash memory and the Kinect kit for $300 starting on Nov. 4."

And i just read Bundle, Redesigned 360, Kinect kit, $300. Didn't know the Arcade was being redesigned aswell, hence the misunderstanding. But like i said above, i want my 250GB Elite, shiny. The Kinect itself wouldve just been an added plus to a good bundle, but its the console i want first and foremost. Im not particular interested in what Kinect has to offer.
