Hahaha fuck no!
The only way I would even CONSIDER paying for it is:
1. Its no more than about $60-$70 (the price of a new game) per year or about $5/$6 per month.
2. We get dedicated servers on consoles. I'm not paying as much as $15/month (what it could be) if we get another laggy piece of shit. I want dedicated servers and no lag.
3. Constant updates/patches. If I'm paying to play online then the game better have some damn good post-launch support. I would expect glitches to be patched within a day or two of them being discovered. Also there should be updates with minor tweaks/fixes to keep the game balanced and fun.
4. There's no way this would ever happen, but it would be nice if new map packs were inluded in the price of the monthly fee. To ask us to pay $60 on your game, then $15 monthly for online and on top of that $15 per new map pack is just fucking insane. To buy the game, play it online for a year and maybe 3 map packs at those prices would end up costing nearly $300.
5. Cheaters/Glitchers will be banned with no refund.
I WILL NEVER PAY TO PLAY COD GAMES ONLINE!
That's just absurd and ridiculous. If I paied for my game, I expect to play the full game without having to pay another fee to play the online component.

Not a chance in hell.

Yeah I think I will hold off on the purchase to see if they are gonna pull any shit with having to pay.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
Considering there are tons of other shooters releasing around the same time, I'll give a firm "NO"
No, not Call of Durty. But I'd be willing to pay for online for the games I like, such as Bad Company 2, Rage and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
$7-10 per month is reasonable. Assuming everyone has to pay the same including PC gamers.
