Why does it take them so long to bring rumble controllers to America? Seriously Sony, I would so happily ask for a shiny new black DS3 for Christmas if they were only available.

Also, don't tell me most people are going to import them, parents, grandparents, and other people that know squat about games buy the most presents for gamers and they aren't going to import controllers for people. Sony is missing out on a huge opportunity.

@twesterm- those people who know nothing about games won't know that rumble is missing.

Twesterm, even though you may assume that they wouldn't import, it's still a good way to get the controller with rumble if you really want it.   Just shoot them a link to the DS3 controller you want, and say that it would be nifty if they got that for you and that they can only get it from a site like play-asia.com or a few others. 

 I think that the only reason it's not being released in America before then is to help clear out backstock and to manufacture many many new controllers to fill the demand.

I know how to find the link but I'm just saying that most parents aren't going to even with a link. You may say Dualshock 3 but they hear Fsdjriuh 3 and will more than likely check Gamestop or Walmart first where they will more than likely get pointed to the SIXAXIS.

I was in Best Buy this weekend and saw some parents looking for DS's and Pokemon and didn't know what they hell they were looking for. They just knew their kids wanted some Pokemon things. The next day I was in Gamestop and I saw the same parents and they were still confused as Hell even though the kids specifically said what they wanted and even wrote it down. The Gamestop clerk pulled out all sorts of different Pokemon games and tried to sell the parents all of them and the parents just didn't get it.  Not saying all parents are that stupid or even that stupidity is the cause, just some people don't get it.

Moral of the story: parents don't understand these things, why do you think they would get importing?

Well, that's why the kid or person requesting that controller would need to be very specific to let them know that it cannot be bought at any store, but they could get it on ebay or whatever site that imports them. Of course, there are parents that are just clueless unlike you or I are.

The availability of imports does not mean that this delay isn't really lame on Sony's part. The lawsuit was settled months ago, what the hell is taking them so long?

As much as I dislike it, twesterm is right. Parents are clueless. Grandparents even moreso.

Best way to go is to put games on the list and write out specifically what it's called and what system it's on. Word it as clearly and concisely as possible, possibly in spreadsheet format
