A writer of web-media Le Mag Jeux Vidéo was to Cannes few days ago for the IDEF 2010. He played Trackmania on the Focus Home Interactive Stand and was very satisfied by this session. He gave a 19/20 (standing note) and said what PC fans of the game will buy the game on Wii cause experience must be better...Graphics looks very very good for Wii and gameplay is fun and reactive. And a very great news with 50 new tracks (in more of the 200 original tracks) avalaible in free download ! Hope it will be possible to download new cars...There's 3 medal by track to unlock on the original Trackmania, but the Wii version will ad a new medal (constructor medal). With multiplayer mode (4 in local and 6 online), Trackmania Wii appears like a must have for wii gamers...

Other good information cause Alan (the writer) was usually not really fan of the Wii and Wiimote before E3/IDEF. But now in love with Trackmania, DK Country and Metroid Other...Like a good sign !

Anywho, thats pretty good. ill probably get it. iv'e never played a Track Mania game, is it like Mario Kart?

No it's not like Mario Kart, only in the sense that it is a arcade racing game. The goal for each track in Track Mania is to first survive it, in other words reach the end-line, and then you can try to better your time, while having infinite respawns. May sound odd, but it is really fun. You'll have to watch some video's to truly understand it.

Mmmh. Played demos of TMN Wii at an vg event in France, but I didn't liked it at all (played 5mn). I played some TMN a while ago on PC and setup a lan at work ^^.

So that means that

- whether the game had improved radicaly

- The integrity of this journalist can be questionable

Wait and see.

I liked Trackmania DS a lot. The images of the Wii-Version look nice. They seem to sell it with a Wheel, so it will have motion-control. I hope they have traditional control also integrated.
