I only have a PS3 just like how Selnor only has a 360, so I can understand the feeling behind this thread. For previous posters, maybe Solidsnake is just having a bad day. But I do believe he has a point. OP should clearly say that he only has a 360 bolded right underneath the title to prevent any further confusion. Other than that, please people don't derail this thread.

It's not even in the same level of epic and awesome as the previous two games. To me, I think GOW3 fails in comparison.

I found the first one to be extremely mediocre (played the God of War Collection, not the original back then), the second one to be miles miles better and I just ordered God of War 3.

Stepping out of the sewers in Oblivion and the vault in Fallout 3 for the first time.
Bethesda does a really good job of wowing you when you get out of the intro sequences.

It's probably because you didn't play the first at its time. The first two God of Wars were definitely one of my best and most memorable experiences with the PS2. I can easily remember any level from the first two games and I haven't played them for a very long time. In Gow3, I can barely remember the first level.
Uncharted 1 &2- pretty epic levels, visuals, and story.
GodOFWar3- Epic boss fights, scale, visuals. For me easily the best in the series, First 2 have that harry potter syndrome going on of being this Juggernaut and not either doing a whole lot or being beaten. GOW 3 you take it to all of the gods and show why kratos is not to be messed with. Granted it doesnt have the most original levels and story like the 1st two but definitly the most gratifying and aweinspiring one ( also i didnt play GOW in the ps2 days payed it in the collection)
Heavy Rain - Epic game, it has had the biggest impact on me. I am about to be a father and i could see myself doing anything for him. I am also naming my child Ethan because of this game so that just goes to show you how much of a profound experience it was for me. I was hoping to name him Ethan Mars but wife didnt go for it.
Cod4- Epic online and cool ending.
Littlebig- Difficult but Epic creativity.

I have plenty:-
Heavenly Sword- the larger scale battles in which armies of hundreds charge towards you with catapult machines.
Alan Wake- Children of the Elder God battle.
Killzone 2- The second level, the graphics & lighting were stunning and the Helghast battles were intense. So far above any other graphics I'd seen at that time.
MGS 4- Rex VS Ray, Snake vs Liquid/Ocelot.

Being invaded by another player for the first time in Demon's Souls in 2-1. Our battle lasted 10 minutes, there was parrying, dodging, blocking, rolling, hacking, slashing, stabbing, magic casting, dreading healing as it left me vulnerable, such an awesome fight. I killed him with the tiniest sliver of health possible and my heart was literally pounding like a hammer for the last 30 seconds.
Uncharted 2- Already mentioned, the collapsing building, the train and so many other parts.
Resistance 2- Leviathan- Not a great battle in itself but a visual spectacle.
Batman: AA- Scarecrow encounters
And the McFuckingDaddy of all that is epic-
I also enjoyed punching Zeus's face to mush as long as I desired.
Not part of the game but the ending of the demo as you're flying out the tunnel towards the Titan's face- the camera angles, scale, music, Kratos' roar and swing of his weapon and then "March 2010" flashing on screen sent chills down my spine.
