It's just your imagination, IMO. I don't believe in these sorts of things.

Since typing on walls is a pain in the ass, I'm just going to continue this here.

Xbbjr9s told me it's much more likely that it's some sort of ghostly or odd thing happening since he lives on a farm and couldn't be anything else and asked me why am I debating his experiencing?

In response I asked is it better to take everything at face value or try to look at it from another angle?

I like to question things so of course I'm going to question odd things.

I grew up on a farm too and our driveway was probably about 100 yeards long (around the length of a football field) and we have no neighbors what-so-ever.  I know what the country sounds like at night.  It's quiet and you can hear every little thing.

So knowing that, I have someone who oddly hears 1950's music and two things pop up: it could be some sort of ghostly event or it could be someone driving by with their radio on.

I'm not saying I don't believe in ghosts or odd things can happen, I actually do believe there are things far beyond our understanding out there, just in this case, I firmly believe it's someone driving by with their radio on.

You may not have neighbors but I assume there's still a road connecting your house to civilization and people drive on that road.  I've heard people drive by my parents house countless times and sometimes people have their radio turned up loud and you can hear it.

Sure, you could have experienced some sort of odd event, but it's much more likely someone had their radio blaring loud.

If nobody believed in ghosts, you'd be out of a job

Psh, I've moved on from ghosts to wars around stars in far far away galaxies.  :-p

the fact that i constantly dream of things before they occur, no one believes me , i didn't accept it at first until i read that its rather common.

I searched and searched every high and low in evry area and could not find it! this lasted all day. That night i went to bed and had dream anout me playing FF X ang]d getting into a battle with a Evil eye and 2 of the blue mushroom guys i was lookin for inside Sin. So i woke up and told my brother and contined seraching but something kept tellin go look inside sin so i eventuslly did... and would you know it, not only did i find them but i found it in the same exact fashio in the dream * 1 evil eye type and 2 blue mushroom enemies with the same exact caamera angle too!

Actually, I had a really weird thing happen to me once in Confession class (Catholic version of "being saved" or whatever the crazy Baptists call it).

We were playing pictionary and before it was my turn the image of the Eiffel Tower popped in my head.  Before I got up I told one of my teammates it's going to be the Eiffel Tower.  I drew my card, looked at the board, drew a ^ and looked at the teammate.  He looked at me funny, said Eiffel Tower in a kind of cautious voice and that was it.

I chalk that one up to coincidence (it's never happened again so I doubt I can tell the future of Pictionary words ;_;) but damn that was strange.

I had a ghostly experience once us teens went to this one place to get junk food.

In the neighborhood there was a abandoned broken house,we hanged there for a little.

When we got back,I went to my house and they said some stories about the abandoed house how people trip, see someone around there and people died there and the ashes dont come of you.

People trip:My friend tripped and he got dirt on him and he couldnt get it off(the ashes)

his cousin said that he saw someone but then he looked again and said they dissapeared

oh crap it sucks cause there was a hot ass girl with us too.

oh and thats about it.though everytime I think of something it always happens and deja vu too.

Not that I am disagreeing with you Twestern, but there are so many reasons why he could have heard sound this night and not on other nights.

Sound can travel better depending on the weather and what terrain it is going across.  There may have been a neighbour a few KM away outside with a radio and the right weather conditions for kbbjr9s to hear the radio.

That - or he and his GF both happened to have a brain aneurysm at the same time and were hearing things :P

Are you sure that you weren't playing Bioshock? :P

And I am ALSO disappointed and confused as to no d21lewis story being in this thread... wtf, he's losing his touch

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

Nothing really amazing comes to mind.  Way back when I was a kid, I watched the first Karate Kid movie.  Mr. Miyagi said "Man who catch fly with chopstick can do anything."  I decided that I was going to catch a fly with chopsticks but since I didn't have any chopsticks, I figured tweezers were good enough.  It didn't even take long but I managed to grab a fly out of the sky with tweezers and squished the hell out of it!  I still tell this story to anybody that will listen and absolutely nobody ever believes me.

Way back in the days of VGChartz member "Art of Angels", I told about when I was a cop and we had to ride around checking on closed businesses, churches, and such, really late at night (Between 10pm and 6am).  So I went to my grandmother's church where she's buried and instead of working, I decided to play Advance Wars on my DS.  I saw a light in the cemetary behind me in the rearview mirror of my police car.  When I looked back, there was nothing.  I kept playing the game and it happened again.  A chill came over me and I got the hell out of there!  I was never really afraid of graveyards and stuff (used to take a shortcut through a graveyard after midnight when I worked in Atlanta and didn't have a car) but that freaked me out.

Same scenario except this time there was a place (it's not even 5 miles from where I live) called the "Dell Goodall House".  Supposedly, it was the only place in my town that wasn't burned down during the Civil War or something (you can google it if you're bored.).  Anyway, I had to check on this old ass creepy house, too.  I walked up to the house and the front door was cracked.  Whenever we check these places, we have to leave a slip in the door showing that we checked it and when we check them.  Anyhoo, I go to the front door and it's cracked open.  I push the door but instead of opening, it slams closed!  Once again, I got my ass out of there.

-Third story, same set up-went to my Grandma's church to put a slip in the door, heard a baby cry (later I was told it was some sort of animal), walked back to my car, totally shaken up but trying to hide it.  Got the hell out of there.

Being alone in the middle of the night in the spookiest of places.  A good way to get scared shitless.

*edit* in my infinite boredom (just got home from work at 5am and nobody but me is awake), I googled the Dell Goodall house.  Say what you will.  This motherfucker is haunted! http://www.southernhauntings.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=26
