Cool for WKC2.

And awesome sales for Harvest Moon! I just love that franchise.

What do you see in Wii Party's future Source? Do you see Wii music numbers or Wii Sports numbers?

Wow @WKC 2.

After the critical reception (both deserved and not) of WKC, I am suprised and at the same time happy, that WKC2 is not to far behind the original. (-16%, I was figuring closer to 20%)

Seems it was a good idea to place WKC with WKC 2.

Wii Party is going to be much bigger than Wii Music not just in Japan but worldwide. If you check the LTDs, Wii Music is at only 400k in Japan - Wii Party did almost 60% of that week one. Wii Music did 50k day one and about 100k week one - while Wii Party went from 67k (Famitsu day one) to 235k (M-C week one). Word of mouth is clearly pretty strong for Wii Party. Games don't even double day-one in week one that often...but Wii Party saw a 3.5x fold increase.

Wow! Im kinda spot on WKC 2.

Wow.

This game(Wii Party) has been announced only two months ago,and only recently it started to have videos, promotions, and advertising.

So,Nintendo can create a very good success(about 240k the first week...in only one country)...giving infos about it only for a month?

Well, maybe now we'll se every "casual" game treated in this way.Instead, the more "core oriented" will be presented well before the release, and will have the right hype.Apple approach for casual combined with "Nintendo core" approach to be the future?

...

But then I think to Fire Emblem, and my mind starts to think they could have this approach even for a Mario Kart. XD

Well... this isn't true for Wii party, but Nintendo could announce their games 1 week in advance and they'd still sell like hotcakes... cause all the fans know that a new zelda, mario kart, mario.... are in preparation anyways.
