Well the OP says it, the rest of the media likes it, but one French critic doesn't and if there is one thing that the French like more than surrendering, it is moaning

a german gaming site and a german magazine wrote the same. and i bet other sites i dont know do as well. so its not "the rest of the media likes it". sure, they all like it but its not the hyper realistic graphics and super duper game some sites talk about.

I have more fun with GT and Forza than MK...

Are you only playing by yourself?

i dont play only by myself but i still like games like gt or forza more than mk. i have more fun to battle with my friends with a porsche on the nordschleife than with a yoshi getting super shit when hes on the last place. sure, its better if some players cant play but if they all are good players a game like gt or forza can be fun as hell with friends.

Could we wait till it's out to pass judgement on what the game is and what it is not? I know a lot about it and am a fan (small one), but if it will be the best at everything or just graphics or just a lot of cars and nothing else, I DON'T KNOW.

There are some important things that show that it will be an epic car racer game:

- potentially leading physics

- potentially leading graphycs (not talking about 3D)

- potentially leading multiplayer on colsoles

- most cars ever (maybe even most cars with interior view ever :P)

bonuses: day night cycle, 3D (it's good)

maybe even dynamic weather, maybe even track creator, rumours about undisclosed features.

We don't even know the full feature list, let alone how those features behave and what the complete gameplay experience is, but we are already drawing conclusions... pffff

GT isnt about graphics (only graphic whores care about that). GT like Forza is about the ability to own cars you cant and can in real life, then customize, tune em to make them feel like yours in your own virtual garage.

Once you done that its all about the driving and doing lap after lap and adjusting your cars settings to get that 0.100 sec off your lap time, going online and competing in tournaments that simulate real life events, pushing a car to its absolute limit, pushing your own skills to the limit and more. These games cater to the motoring/racing enthusiast. The graphics are just the icing on the cake.

So, you are saying you would still love the game if it looked like GT3 or something and had all the same features you listed? You know, since graphics don't matter?

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Maybe we should ask Paul the Octopus if the game is going to be fun?

Yes it's the best racing game ever made and has the best graphics.

I've been reading a LOT of previews on the game and this is the first time i heard someone say negative things about it

makes me lead to believe this guy is full of it

graphics are so pretty you don't have to drive fast, just enjoy the sceneries!

IF GT5 isn't absolutely brilliant after the amount of time and money that has been put into it then something will be seriously wrong.

From what I have seen so far it is the best looking racing game on a console..

If thats the only reason he doesnt like it then he has issues.  Having good or not so good graphics does not decide if a game is great or not....  how about is it fun?

If you want fun go play MK. GT is about the graphics.

I have more fun with GT and Forza than MK...
