Have 3 wiimotes, 2 WM .   So one wiimote always has WM , one never does, the third depends on what game is being played (IE: WSR - yes, MKW - no)

I have three Wii Remotes. Two are naked (no rubber condom or WM ). One is secured with a WM (and its extra large condom).  The third controller only gets used if three people are playing (in other words, those rare occasions when my wife joins my son and I in gaming).

I removed it, because it is not very comfortable for playing NSMB.

I also took the Motion-Plus out of the rubber coat. So taking it off and putting it on again is far easier now.

I used to when I was playing Wii Sports Resort. But I haven't played it in a while, so I don't. That's the only game I use it with. That will change when Conduit 2 comes out. Besides, I can't use my charger when it is in.

Does leaving the WMP in shorten battery life? I would figure that the naswer to that is yes? If so, I SHOULD remove it - but I don't (unless MK is played).

No, I haven't used my motion plus since last year.

Nope, I haven't actually played my Wii Sports Resort lately much and been playing games that came out before WM .  I need to probably check out some WM games that actually use it in a good way for gameplay. 

I always take the wii motion plus off when I'm done using it, because I read that it does shortne battery life. Plus playing games like Punch-out! and NSMBW becomes awkward with the added length
