technically the arguement there can be used to invade China and stop the Chinese government from oppressing the people of Tibet.

America wants nothing of the sort, by the way. All it wants is allies in the region, to ensure its own safety. And if it so happens that they need to introduce democracy and friendly governments in the Middle East, I fail to see how that's a problem.

America's economic system (which, like it or not, is the best system we have) is used now by the large majority of the world. Pretty much all of the Americas, all of Europe, India, China (even if it claims to be Communist), Russia... in fact, everyone except North Korea, Cuba and a few Middle Eastern countries. Capitalism is rooted into all of the economic systems of the world, and barring a massive economic catastrophe (worse than the Great Depression. Much worse), it's not going anywhere any time soon.

What do you propose as an alternative? Communism? Anarchy?

Oh, and I agree with you on the religion. America's been razing all of the mosques in Iraq and Afghanistan and building churches. Oh, wait.

No country has to follow the US in anything. Blair was just a massive Americophile, and what's more he was Bush's lackey, so he did whatever America said. Every country who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan did so of their own free will. Bush wasn't saying "I'm gonna use nyookyoolur bahmbs on y'all if ya don't invade" or anything.

The US, unfortunately, can't invade Iran, despite its clear program to build nuclear weaponry (which isn't clear enough), the confrontational nature of its leader, and its completely rigged "democracy", because it is a sovereign state, the government is secure, and that would be an act of war. You can't just invade a country because you don't like it - THAT would be true imperialism. Pakistan, on the other hand, is most likely the location of al-Qaeda's main headquarters, and so that will probably be the next target, if any.

You know, I see you complaining a lot without adding anything to solving the issue. Well, if you're so smart, why don't you use your socialist attitude to come up with a better political system that is impervious to corruption.

As far as I know, not a single nation (that I'm aware, please tell me if I'm wrong) has escaped corruption. This includes China, USSR, Vietnam, N. Korea, and any others I might be missing. It's human nature that we might find a way around someday. Untiil then we have to make the best with what we have.
