Here's a photo tour of I put together of some of the pics I took during E3.  We've all seen the games already so this is a look at everything else.

Be sure to hover over every pic to read their captions and you can click them to view a larger size.

That squirrel/Fonz picture is hysterical.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

When I saw the guy dressed up as Pacman, I couldn't help but think of this:

very nice

Cool. Vipe, holla at me with your impressions of Skyward Sword, DK, and GE007 when you get the chance.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Arius, I didn't get to play the last 2.  Never seen an E3 like this before where there si so many high calibur games that you can't even get to them all in 3 days.

I did get to see them being played so I'll give you that much.

LOZ: SS - Beautiful mix of the graphical style of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.  It quite literally loooks like concept art in motion.  The controls did take a moment to get used to.  This is largely because I swing back just as fast as I swing forward so some of my on screen sword swings were registerd too early at first. I got that under control and then got to business slashing the hell out of everything.  With shield control in one hand and the sword control in the other...it just feels natural.   Then you get throwing and rolling bombs which is too damn fun.  I can already see the number of puzzle elements, actual in town puzzles or just plain intersting possibilities that will open up.  I didn't try out the whip or flying bettle thing as I was too busying taking on a giant scorpion boss thing but saw others using them and they looked fun as well.

That whole area though is just for the E3 demo and won't be in the final game and of course we've not seen all the new weapons and tricks the game will throw at us so it has me excited to know that there is so much more coming and what we already saw was amazing.

As for DK and Goldeneye, if you've played the older games then you've played these games....which is absolutely a good thing.   No one I saw play them walked away having not enjoyed it.

Thanks Viper. Everybody has said that when you see SS in motion, it really looks gorgeous. I can't wait til their conference in NYC, I'm going to try and make that one and see for myself. Maybe then I'll give YOU some impressions of GE and DK ; )

I look forward to it.  I don't think I'll be able to make to their conference in NYC but I do have a staff member or two that that live that may cover it some.

Hopefully they'll have a newer build with actual in game areas instead of just a demo area.
