Just so I can say "I told you so" when he wins :p

Oh, and to be clear. I am not saying of all the people who could run, this is who I want to win, I am just saying this is who I think will win.

If I could have anyone, it would be Ron Paul.

I'm liking some of his stances on some issues. Disagree with one or two also, but I think he'd be a good candidate

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

You can take the boy out the city, but you can't take the city out of the boy

Republican = Capitalism. Democrats = Socialism.

You are usually either a conservative Republican or a progressive Democrat.

There are the swinging votes but they are a weird bunch.

If a Democrat wins it will be Barack Obama or Hilary Clinton. If a Republican wins it will be either Bobby Jindal or  Sarah Palin.

Ron Paul should win. But it's never going to happen.

I think Obama would be in for a second term.

As for bobby Jindal, the guy's always seemed like a jerk to me. I'm not keyed up on his economy policies, but I know I certainly don't like his social policies.

Given how badly he is fucking up the education in Louisiana I really hope he is not even a serious contender. I can't think of a single person involved in any university around here who would even think of voting for him regardless of their own political affiliations. This includes teachers, janitors, and everyone in-between.

Didn't he make a massive stuff up a couple of years ago? I just remember his name from a news piece somewhere.

I don't really think any strong contenders have emerged from the Republicans, Obama is almost certain to be the Democrat nominee. I hope to God Palin doesn't win.

George (Worst President Ever) Bush won two elections. Sarah Palin has a very good chance at becoming US President. Any moron can become US President. Go and ask George  W. Bush.

There is no way an Indian will be elected president in racist AmeriKKKa.

will you still vote?  even though you have legged it to NZ?  You are still allowed to I believe?

Yea, I will still be a US Citizen, so I can vote. I won't be able to vote in NZ until I become a Citizen (long process). NZ and the US both allow dual citizenship, so I will always be able to vote in the US as long as I don't give up my US citizenship, and I have no plans to do so.

If I became rich, I might, because for every dollar over $94,000 US you earn, you pay taxes in both countries. I won't be making that much money. If one day I am making $200,000 US and have no plans of coming back, I might look into giving it up.
