after having played Nightfire a lot, all shooters HAD to have offline splitscreen bot battles to be fun for me. =[

i hope (though i doubt it, GG never listens) they add it.

Still no news on co-op :s

at least they mentioned multiplayer even though they didn't even tell us anything new.

Splitscreen in Nightfire was indeed awesome. I just hope guerilla takes a que from Nightfire in implementing split-screen.

It looks good but im generally starting to feel pretty jaded about FPS games. I'll maybe buy one a year but unfortunately thats not going to be Killzone 3.

This is looking really amazing- the multiplayer's got me hyped up now loadsss!!!! But why do they release it in 2011 in february/ march surely it would sell much better if it was released this year in septembet in move or next year just before the christmas holiday season.

If Sony is smart, they'll realize that the best way to sell a game is adding offline multiplayer gameplay.

Probably don't want to compete with Call of Duty, or Medal of Honor, or all the other shooters coming out in that time period. Besides, KZ2 released Feb 2011 and most developers like a good 2 years between games.

Yeah, but I read somewhere that games with great have a hard time going splitscreen because there has to be two screens at once with those graphics. Not to mention 3D, which makes it even harder. If you ask me, I'll play offline splitscreen even if the graphics have to be downgraded for it.
