When I plonked my deposit down on a new slim in GAME, they said on the day I'd get £100 for my 120G Elite, £10 either way (yeah as if they'd give you more), so £90 at the least.

Went into today and they're offering £80. So the guy behind the desk quitely told me to go to HMV as they're doing a good deal, went in, £110!!

Which means new Slim will be £90. Beware though, you need the box and manuals in good to pristine condition (thankfully I do)

Wow, you have to trade in the system box and manuals over there?  Is it just there or do all game stores in Europe require that (I'm from the U.S.)?

Being the 360 fan you are, your going to love the new 360.  It really is a thing of beauty.  When do you get to pick it up?

@ Pipe - I hope so!! Next friday ^^ woo! - I think the reason the deal is so good in HMV, is because not many people will have boxes and manuals in good condition, so it means less people trading in, but HMV can sell for higher as it comes with box/manuals.

It's a good deal for those of us that take care of our consoles!!

I wonder how much i can get for a 20gb pro model? Not enough to make it worth it I expect.

Hmm... I have a box in very good condition with manuals and everything, but I would like to keep them. Any chance of me getting any more than £60 at HMV for my Pro

Nice one cheers for the heads up Seece. I was going to trade mine in at GAME but all my stuff is still in really good condition so think i'll be changing to HMV now.

PAH! I am just greedy I would never let one of my 306's go even for such a nice price. I will be finding a new home around the house for any 360 which gets bumped out of the prime spot under the telly.

For me the fact that Amazon UK are selling the Pre Order £10 cheaper than HMV is probably more important but as I have said in other threads I will probably wait until the kinect has been officially launched and any new models i.e. the redesigned 360 arcade have been announced and prices stabilised.
