There is a trick to cheat the game in the fights, you start pausing the game a lot till it show the position for the block and place the control in that position, remove pause and you will block the opponent, rinse and repeat till you beat them.

Now go and finish that game!.

I wish I could put last gen I beat a Tenchu game,I think in the back it said lived in honor killed by stealth.
