I agree that two charge shots would be overkill (and that the game's difficulty is overstated...for me, Isa Plus Kachi mode makes it really hard to die until the latter half of Hard Mode).  But the cross-hair kept getting in the way for me at some points, notably the furnance boss and the first fight with Deko.

The last paragraph feels out of place in the context of this review - no prior mention was given to the game mechanics being "archaic", which makes the whole thing feel a bit wonky.

That damnable minion with the crane ruined my perfect runthrough as Kachi.

This game deserves 2 points off its score even for including that.

Ya I hated that part too

24 hours later and i'm still boiling with fury over that crane minion, and now freshly furious over that first phase against Deko.

This game has become the next Diddy Kong Racing, a game which, while fun on the whole, you play more to prove that you are better than that game and all its cheap treachery.

So if history is anything to go by, can we expect your "I just made Deko my b****" post within the hour?

As i'm done playing for the day, not likely. But my next effort is to focus on getting through stage 6 without dying, so you can look forward to it.

It'll end up like Rathian, where not only *can* i do it, but i'll actually end up enjoying it...
