Just beat FFIX and wow....I can see why people would put this up as their favourite Final Fantasy or game. The story was awesome, characters design this game was just an amazing experience. It still hasn't topped FFX as my favourite Final Fantasy but if I had to make a Top 50 List of games I've ever played, this would definitely be in the Top 10. No Doubt. It also makes me sad to realized that the chances of Square recapturing such magic again are slim. But honestly FFIX if you haven't played it. Go do it. Now

Great game. 5th best FF for me. Loved the battle system.

But I think the story took too long to really get going.

FF IX is my secong favorite FF right under 4 and it almost beat 4... but FF4 just has something no other FF has. Unfortunate i agree that will never see another FF like 9 or 4 again.
