I guess that explains the jump in graphics.  Infamous 2 looks far better than the first, while the differences between, say, Uncharted 2 and Uncharted or Killzone 3 and Killzone 2 were more incremental improvements.

The leap in visuals just from a trailer point of view is a huge one, so i see what they're saying. And didn't ND help them out on this one? Think i read it somewhere.

the tittle is misleading since at first seems like is talking about dumb thing in the game but they are just saying that the dumb things was made in the code... about the improvements, they are here and shows but that is obvious and couldn't be other way around since if its the same game, is a no buy for smart people... MW2 is the anomaly that proves the theory...

Have to agree with this.  I remember when Killzone 2 launched and people were talking about how the graphics were so good.  Even MS had to say something about.  They congradulated Sony for reaching a new level in graphics on a console, but also said that they were currently working on a game that would be superior.  After almost a year and a half later, all I'm asking is, where is this game?  It seems PS3 is in a competition with itself for the game with the best graphics.

Also, agree about the character design.  I don't think it would be so bad if his face at least looked like the old Cole's.  And they HAVE to change the voice actor.  I'm not buying it if I have to listen to that guy the whole way through.  Though, on a positive note, I believe SP said they had so much backlash about the new design, they will be changing it before release.

I think people don't want to "admit" these things because they're afraid to be called fanboys or a troll.  They know this is true, they just don't want to admit it.  Sometimes they bring some stupid excuse to the table because they know they can't argue.

Over time I grew to hate the first game....but the graphics were fine to me. It was everything else that seemed a tad shallow to me. They need to gritty it up a bit imho. The first games for some reason, just seemed....cartoony. Maybe it WAS the graphics, lol?
