I see the OP was talking about the Playstation Plus version.  I have absolutely no experience with PSN Plus so forget anything I said.  Good luck, though!

i shall try that now. 3rd tim lucky so here goes :p

P.S my friend created a level when lbp was 1st released. in the level you had to launch a peculiar shaped rocket into a plastic protective shield. when it dropped, u had to pump up the engine and shoot the rocket into a cave where the shield woould break and millions of bubbles would burst into the cave and sackboy had to run through the cave within a certain time to beat the little tadpols getting their 1st. genius! lol

one more thing i forgot to mention. i was letting it download in the background and this is where the ps3 kept freezing and blanking out.

It downloaded 60% withing 20minutes or so and then i left it over night and 6 hours later it was still on 60% :s this was my 2nd attempt downloading it and it was the only thing on download.

The silly thing is i gave my hardcopy to my nephew. i knew i shud have kept it :S

just let sony know via complaint and hopefully they will sort it out, i was thinking you may have used up your download limit, but that is not applicable because the second one got to the same amount percentage wise.

do you have a phat ps3 by any chance, if so give it a good clean and hoover just to be safe

there is a download limit for PSN users? 

that seems kind of contradictory, usually when you pay the premium service charge for something there is unlimited downloading and at fastest speed possible and multiple downloads at once.

no i got a wide skinny ps3. wow didnt knw there was a download limit either. u sure about that one?

this is the 3rd time me downloading and it has hit 55%, lets see if it goes past 60% :p

yup, me has reported it on the ps3 blog but i have got no response yet :s if they get back with any info i shall let u guys know :)

Maybe its your connection? Try moving your ps3 closer to your modem, or move your ps3 beside the modem and connect a cord. It will download faster, and maybe solve your problem

OK, if it hangs up again I'd try DELETING all the LBP data you've downloaded except for save files etc.  Maybe some of the stuff already on your PS3 is making it screw up.

not a connection problem. it downloads 60% of a 2gig file in like 20mins and then freezes at 60% everytime :s
