I say give LBP one more shot (the demo IS pretty impressive). Set it to background download and forget about it. Even if it snags, it should resume. Unless your PS3 gives you a message saying that there was a download error, don't delete the data. Eventually, you will be playing with your sack.....err, I mean boy. I mean Sack boy!
