anyway on topic I went into game and they already have orders for the move and lots of them, that was'nt advertised either, so any more excuses??

Yeah avoid these guy's like the plague. They got in serious trouble awhile back after lot's of it's users fell victim to credit card fraud.

I never used them before, soon as that stuff did the rounds their image took a huge hit.

As others have mentioned stick to the proper online sellers i.e Game,Hmv,Gamestation,Play,Amazon etc..

You might be buying a cheap game from them but making up the difference by someone using your details to go on holiday!

So basically take this article to mean

"We have not got many pre-orders"

Not because of Kinect but because nobody trusts them.

I realize this is a UK site so maybe the demand over there is different but in the US pre-orders have been very high at major retailers that have been accepting them.

The only reason this price would be justifiable would be if the games for it where $30

Well that's unfortunate

Preordering yet to be released hardware online at anything but the most prominent seller is a fools errand. Nothing good ever comes from doing that. Getting burned is par for the coarse as they tend to advertise product they have yet to be guaranteed from the supplier. Further more you usually end up being overcharged, and they rarely honor a low price guarantee. Basically your going through hoops to preorder, and yet you almost never get the advantage. 

I have been burned too often, and so have many other savvy gamers to trust their luck to the small guy. When you go out of your way to preorder you expect one thing, and that is to get the goods on launch day. Yet you usually find out on launch day that your preorder won't be coming for another three to six months. Meaning you have to cancel your order, and take shit from them as your trying to bolt out the door to find the brick and mortar that may still have one. Usually failing miserably.

I can see how the orders are slow if they are small. Reputation matters in the online space. Especially for preorder goods.

I use ShopTO. It is quite popular but as Kowenicki said, it isn't one of the mainstream places for games. Also there is no price yet and we are a long way from the release.

So "no price, no release date and no advertising" is an excuse for when some shop says the pre-orders are low.

The same does not apply for some when someone uses "Kinect is first on amazon" apparently...
