Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft targets 5m Fable III sales, profits of $150m

That's a bit much.They are aiming to high.I think about 3 million.

i can't see it reaching 5M even with PC sales, sorry but the game is not THAT big anyways, in a holiday so crowded with awesome games like this one, i can't see it surpassing Fable 2 by that much.

I'm Back! - Proud owner of the best doomed handheld of all time!

after fable 2 sales will most likely go down IMO, I rememeber molynux promessing a world that would change according to your decisions but that was just for 5 quests right at the start of the game and it only affect a small part of the world, I wish fable 3 will be more like mass effect 2 were what you did in the first one actually make a difference in the game you are playing

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

5 million shipped won't be too hard. People need to go back and actually look at the numbers Fable II has put up.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

To be honest, Fable 2 isn't that great and its inching its way to 4 million sales. It probably did with digital sales.

If Fable 3 is a much better game, I guess it could hit 5 million.

Aside from Kinect, Reach and FableIII are the only two big first party games coming out this holiday. 5 million seems like a lot, but a lot also depends on how good the game is.

I found Fable I a bit "meh" and a big disapointment. Fable II was a huge improvement, and if Fable III is as big of a jump, 5 million seems possible.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
