But cant the Doctor tell whether someone is a time lord ... I cant remember why he didn't sense the Master anymore but I think they explained it, could Rani be doing the same thing ?

Could Rani be the one who tried to erase time ? Also a friend of mine said that this Omega guy could be the guy behind the events of season 5 !

Guess we have to wait and see :P

^^

That

hehehe..:

Chameleon Arch

*There are only two known chameleon arches left in the universe, one that once belong to the Doctor in his TARDIS before he gave it to it Timothy Latimer, and one that was in the possession of the Master before he left the end of the universe to the 21st century.

It is unknown what happened to the Master's fob watch, after he opened it?

Answer:  the Rani took it

:D

the following are the list of renegade timelords

SUMMARY

The Meddling Monk had two appearances.

Morbius had One
The War Chief had one.
The Master (original) had eight.
The Master (decaying form) had two.
The Master (new body) had nine.
The Master (total of the above) had 19 all together.
The Rani had two.

out of that list only the Rani and the master had a working Tardis.

we know what happened to the Master but not the Rani!

Unlike most "Doctor Who" villains, The Rani is not simply evil but rather amoral on an intergalactic scale. Her interest is scientific research, to the expense of almost anything else. Originally portrayed by Kate O'Mara, The Rani is also a renegade Time Lady who has her own TARDIS — which makes her a dark reflection of The Doctor himself. And while it has been hinted that The Doctor and The Rani have had a previous relationship together, it didn't stop her from causing The Sixth Doctor to regenerate into The Seventh Doctor.

If there was anyone besides The Master who was ruthless enough to escape the Time War, it's The Rani — who may still be out there in time and space, causing havoc with a brand new body...

I don't know really, she is almost certainly married to the Doctor and she almost certainly killed him (though I cant remember precisely what was said in the library)

The problem is they can invent whatever they want, and that last episode did bother me slightly.... but I still enjoy it

In a deleted scene from the series 4 finale Journey's End, the Doctor gave a piece of the TARDIS to the half-human Doctor clone so that the latter could grow his own. When the clone remarked that growing a TARDIS would take hundreds of years, Donna Noble provided him with a method of speeding up the process.

What's the Rani's speciality:

let's see:

Her major interest is in tinkering with other species biochemistry-she was exiled from Gallifrey after some of her Lab Mice , as a result of an experiment, grew to enormous size and ate the President's pet cat and according to the Master "took a chunk out of him too". A past relationship between the Rani and the Doctor is hinted at, but never elaborated upon. It is established they are the same age.

update: what happened to the Rani:

the Master escaped the Rani's TARDIS in The Mark Of The Rani by splitting the console room from the rest of it, leaving the Rani adrift in a space-time bubble until she encountered a benign entity that created a distorted pocket reality where the Romans possessed 20th century technology due to their access to the databanks of a duplicate of the Doctor's TARDIS console. The Rani tried her hand at political machinations in this reality before the intervention of the Doctor, at which point she escaped in her repaired TARDIS.

That Rani idea does look good. Just to clarify, is this the Doctor who went to the otherside with Rose?

yup..so in the past The Rani has been able to speed up the crowth cycle and evolution cycle of species, the tardis is a living machine so. i do not think it would be out of the question. i think there is alot of indicators that River is indeed the Rani we will not know for sure. But i would not put it past them to bring her back as one of the 11 dr's oponent's

i just read a theory in another forum, that River Song could be the Tardis, that eventually evolved into human form

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

oh, I hadnt thought of that, certainly an interesting theory.

ive been rewatching some of the classic series atm anyway, this has made me want to watch some of the serials the Rani is in again.

i still can't get over the fact that david tenant left, he was a brilliant doctor, not too keen on the new one, he tries to be too much like david...

it's the future of handheld
