I don't want to stop you, show him. But I get the feeling that he made up hes mind, illogical as the decision may be (sorry, I watch a lot of Star Trek Voyager these days, and vulcans always get to me).

re-read my 1st post again where I mention wide variety of games Heavy Rain get's a mention, and trust me I will be showing him this and Uncharted 2, so sorry to dissapoint you.

Also Uncharted 2 is not just a shooter, it is unique in it's own way it's not all run and gun, you actually have to solve  puzzle's and platform as well, also it does have brilliant gameplay, a definitive game to show him without a doubt, IT'S WHY IT GOT SO MANY AWARDS DO YOU WANT TO ARGUE WITH THAT AS WELL??

Relax, all I'm saying is that you shouldn't be showcasing games because of their graphics, but because of their gameplay. If the gameplay is the reason you want to show him a game, then go ahead. 

And you don't have to lecture me on what Uncharted 2 is, I platinum'ed it, I know what it is.

lol ok fair enough, but that is why i put more reasons than just graphics in my first post, physics also can be things such as the destuctionable environment in killzone 3 is an example of what i mean, it's not all about the graphics as I own games like 3D DOT Heroes, lol

Incidentally, 3D Dot Game Heroes is a game I would showcase (if he likes retro games at least).

yup and by quite alot infact US alone outsold ps3 WW, but I did not even know about the slim until after I made that bet lol, people will always by newer models, it's the way things work, but respect for MS for getting back in the sales again.

He has a Xbox already, doesn't use it, yet wants the new Xbox which is the same thing in a different box? Isn't that kind of dumb?

But if he's really considering that, than I wouldn't bother persuading him to buy the PS3, if he can't see the difference between a higher value product (PS3) and the same thing he has (in a new box), he's a lost case.

Meh let him buy the new 360, he mite end up giving you his old one while his new one will start collecting dust =P
